We are now accepting entries for the Spring 2010 edition of the Bologna Center Journal of International Affairs.
This Edition’s Theme:
America’s ability to forge global consensus is declining: the unipolar balance of power is faltering. Which state—or states—will take up the heavy burdens of leadership? China is capable but uninterested. The EU is interested but incapable.
As the balance of power in the core shifts, the periphery is in flux. Tensions are rising as developing countries challenge the status quo by striving for greater influence and regional authority.
What will the new global architecture look like? Which countries will lead – and how will emergent powers be integrated? How will developing and rising regional powers help shape the new international system?
